Senior Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Security Matters, Igbana Denen, has been killed by some unknown gunmen in the state.
Denen was reportedly murdered in the early hours of Friday, May 20, 2016.
The governor’s aide was said to have been shot dead by the gunmen at about 2:30am at his residence.
At the moment, police in the state have launched an investigation into the murder and are working tirelessly to unravel those behind the act.
