Report just reaching us has it that men of the Nigeria Police have locked up national secretariat of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abuja.
It was gathered that the Wadata office of the party, which is presently battling with crisis that has torn it into shreds, was condoned off by stern-looking security operatives.
On Saturday, May 21, 2016, the planned national convention of the party in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was suspended after delegates had arrived for the exercise.
The PDP presently has three persons each claiming to be national chairman of the party, which ruled the country for 16 years before it lost to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2015 general elections.
