Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa has been named Speaker of the Year during 19th City People Awards.
The prestigious event took place at the Lekki Coliseum, Lekki, Lagos, on Sunday, May 29, 2016.
Obasa was presented his award by the Ogun State Commissioner of Information, Dayo Adeneye, while Lagos Assembly Deputy Speaker, Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, watched with keen interest.
The Speaker got the award for his exemplary leadership style, which has transformed into a peaceful relationship between the executive and legislature.
