A family member of the late Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has disclosed that the former Nigeria international complained of a leg ailment before his untimely death in the early hours of Wednesday, June 8, 2016.
Chairman of the Edo State Football Association, EFA, Frank Ilaboya, quoted Ricky Aburimen, a family member of Keshi, as saying that the former Togo and Mali coach only complained of a leg ailment while holidaying at his Airport Road home in Benin before he passed away.
Ilaboya said the remains of Keshi had been moved to a privately-owned mortuary in Benin City, Edo State, Faith Mediplex.
He said Keshi died on the way to hospital at about 3am after a cardiac arrest.
