Barely two weeks after the militants of the Niger Delta Avengers group blew up an oil facility belonging to Agip in Bayelsa State, another property of the company has been destroyed again.
In the early hours of Friday, June 10, 2016, the militants bombed a trunk line belonging to Agip in Bayelsa State.
The latest facility destroyed by the group is said to be the company’s major crude oil line in the state.
“3am of Friday @NDAvengers blow up the Obi Obi Brass Trunk line belonging to Agip ENI. It is Agip’s Major Crude oil Line in Bayelsa State,” the group posted on its Twitter account on Friday.
On May 28, 2016, the Avengers blew up Nembe 1, 2, and 3 Brass to Bonny trunk line belonging to Shell and Agip at about 2:15am.
