A while ago, we reported that protesters in support Ali Modu Sheriff and Ahmed Makarfi, the two men claiming to be in charge of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stormed the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
Aproko247 also reported that the demonstrators, mostly youths, carried placards to show solidarity to their faction leaders.
We have laid our hands on photographs from the protests, which we learnt have been largely peaceful.
However, there is heavy presence of security operatives at the Wadata Plaza of the PDP in Abuja to ensure all remain calm.
