A bank account belonging to Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, has been frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Fayose disclosed this development on Monday, June 20, 2016, via his official Twitter handle.
The governor said the account placed embargo on by the anti-graft agency is the one he operates with Zenith Bank Plc.
“My personal account of at Zenith Bank has been frozen courtesy of (President Muhammadu) Buhari led (All Progressives Congress) APC tyrannical government,” the governor tweeted.
Fayose has remained very critical of Buhari’s administration, speaking against some of his government’s policies.
