Organizers of Mr & Miss Face of the World have revealed that the pageants will no longer be taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria but in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The change also affected the date with Miss Face of the World now scheduled to take place from November 28 to December 3, 2016, while Mr. Face of the World will be kicking off two days after from December 5 to 10, 2016 at Dubai.
Speaking, the president of Face of the World Organization, Nwabueze Buchi George, said the shift was as a result of an irresistible offer from hotels in Dubai.
He said: “Some people offer more than a venue, they give you a home. It was a tough decision to make because of the huge respect we have for Sofia; we have worshiped the beauty of the city and its rich culture and history, but the move to Dubai was a call the entire team had to answer.
“We regret all the inconveniences this change in venue and date would be causing anyone and promise to make it up in the quality of event we will be having at the end,” he said.
More than 120 national winners are expected for the events which are being used to support Global Family Fund on Education. Amongst the contestants will then be over sixty faces of national queens who are expected at Miss Face of the World and the organizers are then shifting their focus towards giving both the guests and contestants a world-class experience that will stand the taste of time.
