The ban placed on eccentric singer, Gabriel Amayi otherwise known as Terry G has been lifted by the DJs Association of Nigeria, DJAN.
Last month, the DJs association directed all its members not to play songs of the artiste or any song that has his input.
This was to protest the assaulted on a protégé of DJ Jimmy Jatt by Terry G at an event that took place in Lagos.
Terry had slapped the young DJ for playing another artiste’s song while he was still on stage performing at MC Bash’s comedy show.
“The National Executives of the DJs Association of Nigeria (DJAN) humbly appreciate the support and cooperation of Nigeria DJs for full participation on said subject, we are most grateful for acknowledging the fact that ‘an injury to one is injury to all’, One Beat… One Voice.
“Terry G has shown a very reasonable level of remorse and had apologized to all parties concerned including apologizing to the leadership of the Association at all levels.
“After due consultations and deliberations, the Deejays Association of Nigeria hereby lifts the ‘EMBARGO’ on all songs of Terry G (including songs he featured in). Thank you,” a statement by the body disclosed.
