Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, of doing everything within their power to nail him on corruption allegation.
Omisore said he has from a good authority that the anti-graft agency has been instructed by powerful figures in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to get him apprehended at all cost.
“The political instruction from APC that Omisore must be arrested in spite of court order created the 1.3b Dasuki story that EFCC should claim it’s a new discovery from the restraining court order to detain me by all means at all costs bearing the 2018 Osun governorship election in mind APC and Aregbesola having failed, main opposition must be silenced,” he alleged.
He pointed out that “EFCC operatives are in disagreement with their political APC godfathers for dodging court summons as I exposed on AIT on Thursday.”
“Nigerians are hereby alerted by the killer democracy, abuse of human rights and utter disrespect for the rule of Buhari administration on illegal arrests, back door detention warrants and tyranny!
“I want to assure Nigerians especially suffering Osun masses that I won’t abandon them even in the face of persecution!
“I didn’t take money from Dasuki! Let my peace be! Go search for crooks, election riggers and government money embezzlers in your party,” Omisore stressed.
