Popular Nigerian pastor, Chris Okafor, recently gave hope to some less privileged in the society by giving out some amount of money to them.
Prophet Okafor, who is the Senior Pastor of Liberation City, as part of his vow to God, last Sunday, put smile on the faces of some widows, orphans and a man who was planning for his wedding ceremony.
Aproko247 gathered that the ‘Oracle of God’ as the stylish man of God is fondly called, gave bags of rice to over 600 widows.
He also disclosed that he would soon kick off his monthly widows empowerment scheme, where beneficiaries would be trained in various skill acquisitions and subsequently empowered with cash for start up.
Also, Prophet Okafor gave the sum of N150,000 to a man who needed money for his marriage.
Three young male orphans, who recently lost their mothers, were also given N120,000 to rent an apartment.
Speaking on his gestures, Okafor said not every problem requires prayers, explaining that this is why he has adopted this style of deliverance and cash empowerment.
In another development, Chris Okafor World Outreach, COWOM, has continued its soul-winning crusade across the country.
The train has visited over 13 countries out of the 35 countries scheduled to be visited in 2016. That of Sango Ota in Ogun State kicked off on June 30 and would run till July 2, 2016.
