The Caretaker Committee-led by Ahmed Makarfi has been declared as the authentic Executive of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Ahmed’s committee was given a nod on Monday, July 4, 2016, by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
At the ruling on Monday, the court held that Makarfi was legally appointed by the National Convention of the party held about two months ago in Port Harcourt.
