On Sunday, July 3, 2016, Abiodun Coker, who is a Media Relations Officer at UBA, rolled out drums for the dedication of his daughter, Anjola Oluwatosin Fadekemi.
The easygoing Coker invited some of his friends, colleagues and family members to his residence at Satellite Town, Lagos, for the ceremony and spoilt them with assorted foods and drinks and good tunes serenading underground.
The former BusinessDay journalist ensured that his guests were treated like kings and queen, making sure they were satisfied to the fullest.
The day coincided with the birthday of his mother, Mrs Theresa Abosede Coker, who turned 60. The woman was full of life and glad to witness the day and honour done to her by her successful son.
Some of the faces at the colourful function were Charles Aigbe, who is Coker’s boss at UBA; Abdul Imoyo, Head Media and Communications at Access Bank, who was once with UBA; Ayobami Ladipo, a top blogger; Wale Onifade, a renowned society journalist; Michael Alonge, an ace entertainment journalist, amongst others.
Coker, a graduate of Banking and Finance from LASU, is one of the most respected corporate communication executives at UBA.
His experience as media relations and crisis management guru has made him exceptional in the field amongst many.
