Former Lagos State governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has threatened to pitilessly deal with controversial federal lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, if he dares beat his (Tinubu) wife as he reported vowed on Tuesday on the floor of the Senate.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Melaye threatened to ‘impregnate and beat up’ his colleague, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for advising members of the Senate not to turn the chamber into a kindergarten’s playgroup.
This came after some members allegedly instigated to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari over the trial of the Senate leadership by the Federal Government.
But reacting through his media, Sunday Dare, the APC chieftain said if Melaye dares carry out his threat on his wife, “things will happen.”
Tinubu described Melaye as a disgrace to the Senate and stated that it is downhill for him.
“Dino Melaye sunk to the lowest ever today (yesterday). From this point, it is downhill for him. A disgrace to the Senate of the Republic.
“And if Dino thinks nothing will happen if he dare beats up another Senator, then he must be living in a fool’s paradise. Things will happen,” Tinubu’s media aide said.
