The appointment of Salisu Yusuf as the new head coach of the Super Eagles has been approved by the board of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, led by Chris Giwa.
Few days ago, the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF appointed a Frenchman, Paul Le Guen, as the new coach for the same team.
According to the Giwa-led NFF, Yusuf will be assisted by Imama Amakapabo, while Ike Shorunmu will serve as the goalkeeper trainer.
Also, former Super Eagles midfielder, Emeka Ezeugo, has been appointed as the team co-ordinator, while former FCT SWAN chairman Victor Ireole will serve as the team’s media officer.
The new coaches and officials will be unveiled next week in a glamorous occasion in Abuja.
