Some students of the Benue State College of Education in Katsina-Ala, on Monday morning took to the streets to kick against an increase in their tuition fee.
It was gathered that the angry students want authorities of the institution to reverse the said increment.
The demonstration on Monday, according to information gathered by our reporter, caused a total disruption of academic activities in the school.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the first and second gates of the college were locked by the aggrieved students.
They also manned the gate leading to the administrative block of the school.
The students carried placards conveying various messages.
However, Deputy Provost, Academics, Mr D. Hindi, pledged to convey their message to the Provost, Prof O.N. Nder.
