Some members of the opposition party in Rivers State, the All Progressives Congress, APC, stormed the capital of the state, Port Harcourt, demanding the swearing-in of its candidate in the state House of Assembly election.
The party faithful, numbering over 2000, on Tuesday morning, besieged the premises of the Rivers State House of Assembly complex on Moscow road asking for Victoria Nyeche and Andrew Miller to be administered oaths of office as members of the Assembly.
The two persons won their tickets representing their various constituencies on the platform of the APC in the state.
