The campaign team of Donald Trump has backed the alleged plagiarised speech of Melania on Monday night at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Trump’s wife was accused of using almost the exact words of America’s First Lady, Michelle Obama, which she delivered nearly eight years ago at the Democratic National Convention.
A statement issued on Donald Trump’s website by Jason Miller, Senior Communications Advisor, it was stated that, “In writing her beautiful speech, Melania’s team of writers took notes on her life’s inspirations, and in some instances included fragments that reflected her own thinking.”
It was explained further that, “Melania’s immigrant experience and love for America shone through in her speech, which made it such a success.”
After the speech, footages appeared on the internet showing Melania said almost exactly what Michelle said about eight years ago. She and her husband have been lashed at by critics.
