A former Nigerian Ambassador to the Central African Republic, Yahaya Tabari, has died in a fatal car accident.
The late Nigerian envoy was said to have died on Monday in an auto crash that occurred along the Kaduna-Zaria expressway.
Tabari, 64, worked with the Nigerian Foreign Mission in several countries including Saudi Arabia, Benin Republic and Central Africa Republic among others.
He is expected to be buried on Tuesday according to Islamic rites.
Tabari is survived by a wife, Hajiya Binta and five children.
