Report reaching Aproko247 has it that the wife of a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Adejuwon Oyenuga, Olukoya, has been abducted by some unknown gunmen.
Mrs Oyenuga was reportedly seized by the hoodlums on Tuesday morning at Odoladalepo in Ijebu-Ife, Ogun State.
She was said to have been kidnapped immediately after she was dropped off by her son in front of their farm.
The victim’s husband is the lawmaker representing Ijebu East state constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly. He belongs to the opposition party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to what Aproko247 gathered, Mrs Oyenuga was whisked away by her abductors after she was kidnapped.
When the incident occurred, we learnt some residents of the area summoned the courage to chase after the kidnappers. In the process, one of them was reportedly caught at Ijagun junction, Ondo Road in Ijebu Ode. He was later handed over to the police, we learnt.
It was learnt that the apprehended hoodlum is cooperating with the police on how to arrest the other members of the gang, who are at large.
