In a bid to ensure an efficient and effective Public Procurement system, the Lagos State Government has revised the registration/renewal form for Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants (existing and prospective) wishing to do business with it.
According to a circular signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mrs Olabowale Ademola, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are requested to advise their vendors to obtain the revised registration/renewal form when seeking to register or renew their companies’ registration with the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.
The Head of Service also disclosed that hard copies of the revised form can be obtained free of charge from the Department of Monitoring, Enforcement and Compliance (MEC) Unit, Lagos State Public Procurement Agency, Room 209, Block 22, the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.
Soft copies of the form, she added, can be downloaded from the Public Procurement Agency’s website; www.lagosppa.gov.ng
Mrs Ademola therefore enjoined MDAs to transact business with only contractors who are duly registered with the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.
