Report reaching us indicates that the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, is at the moment having a closed-door meeting with Senators Oluremi Tinubu and Dino Melaye.
The two lawmakers have been at loggerheads lately after an altercation the erupted between them at an executive session at the Senate last week.
Tinubu claimed she was insulted by Melaye and she later petitioned the Acting Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, demanding police protection on the ground that someone Melaye had issues with few years ago later died.
Melaye, on his part, claimed he insulted Tinubu because she called him a thug and dog.
On Tuesday, Tinubu wrote leadership of the Senate as well as the All Progressives Congress, APC, the party both of them belong to, to formally lay down her complain on the matter.
