The man of God who chained and tortured his nine-year-old son inside a room is reportedly on the run.
On Friday, operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Ogun State, rescued on Korede Taiwo, where he was chained with a padlock at a church in the state.
According to facts emerging now, the boy was chained in the neck in a room by his father, Taiwo Francis, for four weeks.
His offence, we learnt, was that he allegedly stole.
His father is said to be the pastor in charge of Key of Joy Celestial Church of Christ, Ajibawo area in Atan Ota, Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of the state.
Meanwhile, the stepmother of the boy, has been arrested by the police at Onipanu Division, Ota, Ogun State.
It was gathered that the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2, Abdulmajid Ali, has ordered the arrest of the fleeing pastor.
