Chained Boy: Police Seal Ogun Cele Church (Photo)

Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has sealed the church where a nine-year-old boy was chained with a padlock for about a month.

The boy, Korede Taiwo, was allegedly chained by his father, Francis, for allegedly having the spirit of stealing.

It was said that the boy was rescued last Friday by security officials in the state following a tip off by some members of the boy’s father’s church.

Taiwo is said to be the pastor in charge of a Celestial Church of Christ in Ota area of the state.

Aproko247 gathered that the boy’s father, who allegedly tortured and starved him, initially fled, but was later arrested by the police.

His church has now been sealed, while the boy handed over to the Ogun State government, which offered to adopt him.
