Fuji star, Pasuma, under his label, Wasbar Records, has unveiled a new rapper named Ogagun SK.
The Abeokuta, Ogun State-born rapper has released the first single titled ‘Ibinu Olukoso’ off his highly anticipated album scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2017.
Born Olasunkanmi Olaribigbe Ibrahim, Ogagun SK, according to Pasuma, is a promising act with a lot of energy and creativity.
“The first time I saw him perform I was like, wow! ‘This young man has a lot of energy in him.’ He reminded me of my days as a struggling singer trying to get people’s attention. I never thought of signing him until he approached me.
“Many would want to question my decision on signing a hip hop act on my label simply because I’m a Fuji singer. I already have two Fuji artistes on my label and since I am a lover of hip hop music. I decided to invest in him because I believe in him. At the moment it’s all about music and doing what is right.”
Before he got signed on to Wasbar Records, Ogagun SK had recorded couple of songs, including “Naija, Aje-Olokun’, Blame It On Money and Kosere.
Speaking on his affiliation with Pasuma’s label, SK says; “At the moment nothing excites me as much as getting signed on to Wasbar Records. It’s actually not about getting signed on to a label but about the love and support you get from people within.
“I got signed on to Wasbar label some weeks back and I have gained so much, much more than I can ever imagine. There are quite a lot of talented singers like me out there ….. What everyone needs is someone to believe in them. I thank God I finally found some who believes in me and willing to invest in me.”
