Defending champion of the 2015/2016 Barclays Premier League, Leicester City, suffered a shock loss in the first game of the new season.
The Foxes were beaten by Hull City 2-1 at the Kcom Stadium.
The Tigers went ahead in the match in the last minute of the added time of the first half through Adama Diomande’s goal, but less than 20 seconds into the second half, Hull conceded a penalty, which Riyad Mahrez put behind the net, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
However, Robert Snodgrass restored the lead for the home side, who are coming into Premier league action this season after being relegated two years ago.
