In the DJ cabal in Nigeria, one prominent figure there is Oluwatobi Austin Betiku, fondly called DJ Turbo D.
The Kuronbefun Master, as he is also fondly called by his associates, is the official DJ of Korede Bello, the ‘Godwin’ crooner signed by Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
Today, Sunday, August 21, 2016, the graduate of Bio-Chemistry from the Lagos State University, Ojo, is celebrating his birthday.
Dynamic and energetic in his performances, a Christian and exclusively outstanding, Turbo D has bagged several local and international awards for being excellent at his skills of disc jockeying.
In his archive are Jurgita International Youngest Radio DJ (2007), Helix Award LASU personality of the year (2010), Best Radio DJ 2011, Helix Award LASU Ojo, Celebrity of the year, LUTH (ULAPS) 2008, FOS LASU Experimental Award 2011, Best Radio DJ amongst many others.
DJ Turbo D joined Eko FM at a tender age, combining academics with his passion. He has since grown and developed himself as an all-rounder. He is currently signed to the SMD Mavin Record’s as the official DJ to Korede Bello.
The fun-loving dude loves reading and listening to music. He also enjoys eating shawama.
Friendly and easy going, Turbo D has performed in several events locally and internationally, carnivals and clubs.
His presently working on his single scheduled to drop in January 2017 with TopNaijaArtist.
