Lawrence Uwaifo, popularly known as Kilo One, on Sunday thrilled his teeming fans at the Classic Africa Merit Award (CAMA) 2016 held at the 10 Degrees Event Centre in Lagos.
The ‘Kulele’ crooner and multi-talented artiste was in his blistering best as he rendered songs like ‘Our Love’, ‘Number one girl’ from his latest job and the guests couldn’t but ask for more.
The Edo State-born artiste is currently the rave of the moment.
The sensational RnB singer disclosed that his latest work, ‘Our Love’, was inspired with happenings in the country today. He disclosed further that he was out to educate the people about the need to show love towards one another.
“Our love’ is a beautiful song with Highlife tunes, containing words of inspiration, motivation, love that will encourage the country and individual to be better people.
“My dream is to inspire the world through my song, therefore I decided to do a song that contains inspirations and motivational words to help the people grow from headship, poverty and molestation.
“I realised Nigeria are happy people, and love dancing, with ‘Our Love’, you can’t stop dancing, I am making that also my selling point,” the award-winning artiste said.
CAMA was put together to honour brands and individuals who have distinguished themselves in various spheres of life.
