President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja after attending the 71st Session of the United Nation’s General Assembly in New York, United States.
During the meeting in the US, the President had series of engagements with other world leaders on issues of significant interest to Nigeria.
After the summit, Buhari returned to the country and touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 5am on Sunday.
On his return, the President was received by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari; Minister of FCT, Muhammad Musa Bello; Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Burutai; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar; Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris; Acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu and other senior government officials.
Buhari said his trip to the UN meeting was successful as he was able to make good cases for Nigeria with other world leaders.
