Fast-rising artiste, Oritse Femi, has explained why he attacked a bouncer at the popular Quilox Club in Lagos at the weekend.
The singer, in a statement issued by his MSN Gang, explained that he was forced to act the way he did because a bouncer at the club first attacked him.
His management narrated that on Friday, November 11, 2016, at exactly 2am at Quilox Night Club, Oritse Femi was attacked by a bouncer just because he was trying to defend Sound Sultan, who was not allowed to enter the VIP section of the club.
It was said that Oritse Femi had expressed his disgust over the treatment meted out on Sound Sultan and asked why the top singer was given such treatment.
He was reportedly explained to that an order was given by owner of the club, Shina Peller, not to allow the artistes into the VIP section and told Oritse Femi that he can leave the VIP section to join the other artistes at the regular section.
It was narrated that while Oritse Femi was making his way to the regular section, a bouncer nudged him, which forced him to retaliate by using his cup of wine to hit the bouncer in the face and gave him (bouncer) a scar.
MSN Gang said in the statement that this led to a fisticuff and the singer was allegedly beaten like a criminal.
The singer’s management claimed Oritse Femi’s N8.5 million gold chain was stolen.
