Former boyfriend of star actress, Toyin Aimakhu, Seun Egbegbe, has been accused of stealing some high-end phones at the popular Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos.
It was alleged that the popular film producer had gone to purchase some iPhones, but attempted to run away with the gadget before the sales person raised an alarm and he was almost lynched by some angry mob, but for the prompt intervention of police.
According to Porsche Classy, Seun Egbegbe had gone to Kaalcech Innovations store at Computer Village on Tuesday morning, where he allegedly took two recently released iPhone 7 and seven iPhone 6 Plus and before one could say Jack Robinson, he was already near a vehicle across the road allegedly attempting to elope with the phones.
It was at this point the sales girl screamed for help and her noise attracted those at the market, who swoop on Egbegbe after chasing him and gave him the beating of his life.
However, the owner of the store, Kolawole Aleshinloye, called police at Area F, who quickly took the filmmaker away and detained him.
When Aproko247 contacted Egbegbe’s close associate and image maker, BK Media Concept, on the issue on Tuesday afternoon (3:55pm), he promised to send at statement to us in few minutes, but as at the time of publishing this story (10:40pm), we were yet to hear from him.
