It has mostly been said that Nigerian celebrities live a very deceitful lifestyle, especially on social to pump their egos, though this has constantly been argued with many playing down on such arguments.
It is very common to see Nigerian celebs flaunt wealth on social media, but many have said most of these stars are not what they paint to their fans.
Recently, star actress, Oge Okoye, posted a picture of a dog she claimed to have acquired on her Instagram page and many applauded her and commented that the dogs were cute.
But unknown to her teeming fans, these dogs were actually not hers. They belonged to an American star, Kenya Moore.
Oge Okoye only took a snapshot of the Kenya Moore dogs’ picture and claimed ownership of them.
She was busted by fans of the American star, who lampooned her, describing the Nigerian movie star “Some African lady.”
“Some lady in Africa took a screen shot of king and twirl from Kenya’s page and she’s claiming them as hers.
“Peep, Kenya’s Range Rover logo is on the floor mat.
“This lady is an actual verified user too. Report #Fraudulent,” they posted.
Realising the international embarrassment she has brought on herself, Oge Okoye quickly deleted the picture and made no mention of it again.
It would be recall that recently, Tonto Dikeh announced to her fans that the expensive items she was always flaunting on the internet were not bought by her husband as she had earlier claimed.
The actress and mother of one claimed she actually bought them but had to say her estranged hubby did to make him feel like a real man.
