PMAN VP Congratulates Kogi Commissioner

The National 2nd Vice President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, and Kogi-born musician, Baba Ojonugwa (J.F.O), has congratulated the Kogi State Commissioner for Budget & Planning and his boss, the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State House of Assembly and members of the new direction team of the governor for the successful signing of the 2017 budget.

J.F.O praised the Commissioner for a job well done especially making the draft of the budget available on all social media platform for public discuss, an innovation never before done in Kogi State.

In a statement by his media aide, Baba Ojonugwa also thanked the Speaker and members of the State Assembly for their dedication to duty during the budget defence exercise but asked them not to forget the plight of the masses and hunger in the land as a result of the ongoing civil service reforms.

He also pleaded with the government of Yahaya Bello to have a human face even as the reforms are for a good intent. He further asked the people to be patient with the governor as better days are ahead.

The musician, in the same vein, congratulated the member representing Ankpa 1 constituency in the state assembly, Ahmed Mohammad on his one year in office and prayed God’s wisdom for legislative dividends to the good people of Ankpa 1 constituency.
