Financial guru and a Doctorate degree holder from the University of America California, Dr Stanley Acho, has expressed his willingness to tackle the unemployment problem in Nigeria by creating several opportunities to youths in the country.
The philanthropist plans to use his influence as a director at Stretch-out Group (Stretch-out Exclusive Rendezvous Ltd, Stretch-out BDC Ltd, Stretch-out Investment Ltd.), Trans America Oil and Gas and as the Principal Consultant of Stanley Consulting, an outstanding financial consulting firm, to fulfil his intention.
Acho is an Alumnus of the University of America California, Federal University of Technology, Owerri in Imo State, University of Calabar and IMT Enugu.
He is a member of the Institute of Credit Administration (ICA) and has over the years built a strong reputation in the banking sector as Branch Coordinator with Fidelity Bank, Executive Analyst for Western Union at First Bank of Nigeria, Branch Manager with National Bank and Wema Bank, Regional Manager (Ag) in the defunct Equatorial Trust Bank now Sterling Bank and United Bank for Africa (UBA) among others.
During Stanley Acho’s time in one of the banks, where he relentlessly proved his qualities as an outstanding banker, developed a product popularly known as Esusu Banking which brought a tremendous increase in the bank’s liquidity.
Stanley Acho didn’t stop there, he went further to provide effective management and leadership for the branches and developed a business model which converted loss making branch to profit making.
He was equally able to identify the customers’ needs and came up with useful recommendations on ways to meet those needs and he ensured prompt and accurate appraisal of credit applications.
To him, philosophy in Business Psychology is critical and that is the reason why he furthered his education in that area.
Apparently, Dr Stanley Acho’s promise to create employment opportunities has begun to emerge as he will be launching a new Logistics Brand in the month of June 2018.
The brand called ‘Same Day Logistics’ is first of its kind in Nigeria, located in the heart of Lagos (Lagos Island) with the promise to deliver items same day of receipt.
The courier service firm will in no doubt provide jobs for not less than 100 Nigerians and this number will continue to increase as the company expands across the states.
