Senior Pastor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries also known as Greater Liberation City, Prophet Chris Okafor, recently marked his birthday by empowering about 108 widows in Lagos.
During an event organised to celebrate the man of God on Sunday, April 29, 2018, Prophet Okafor received a car gift from his members, a G-Wagon SUV.
According to information made available to us, the cleric gave each of the 108 widows the sum of N200,000 to assist them establish themselves.
The money was distributed through a foundation set up by the prophet, the Chris Okafor Humanitarian Foundation.
During the event, Prophet Okafor urged the beneficiaries to use the money wisely and ensure they wisely invest it in a profitable business.
He said the foundation will continue to do its best for the betterment of the less privilege in the society.
Some of the guests present at the event were Bishop Isaac Idahosa of Illumination Assembly, Klint
de Drunk, Accapela among many others.
The high point of the programme was the presentation of a 2017 model of G Wagon bullet proof car by some members of the church.
In his remarks, Prophet Okafor thanked his “sons and daughter” for the gift, saying they will continue to enjoy the grace upon his life “because whoever gives to a prophet will continually enjoy the benefit of doing for a prophet.”
Prophet Okafor was born into the family of Stephen Okafor, a family of five in Ihite, Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
However, he had his primary education at the Ohuoba Primary School in Edo State from 1978-1983. He furthered his education by attending Edo College from 1984 and sat for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in 1989.
He was later admitted into the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in Edo State, where he obtained B.Sc degree in Business Administration.
The cleric started his church in November 2003 in his apartment before moving to Prismoni Primary School, Ojodu.
