Oba Ilu, as he’s fondly called, demonstrated dexterity on the talking drum, which shows possibilities available in our vast cultural and ethnic diversity.
Gabination’s performance was to the delight of the king and dignitaries present at the event, as they danced to his beats joyously. Present at the event were traditional rulers and chiefs, which include Erelu Kuti, a Lagos State traditional noblewoman charged with the bearing of the ritual essence of Oloye Erelu Kuti I.
