Foremost independent media specialist, mediaReach OMD, has been ranked as the leading media agency in Nigeria by Research Company (RECMA), a firm which evaluates Media Agency Billing and Ranking globally.
The Nigerian company, according to RECMA, scored 20.7 percent share of media buying/billing, having grown by seven percent in 2017 compared with 2016.
mediaReach OMD has consistently ranked Number One by RECMA since the report started for Nigeria in 2011. In Ghana, it ranked No 1 with a 21.1 percent share of media buying/billing, having grown by 11 percent in 2017 compared to 2016.
With the rankings in both countries, mediaReach OMD continues to be the leader in West and Central Africa.
This feat can be attributed to the growth mediaReach OMD recorded with the addition of new business and organic growth of existing business.
In other markets in Africa, OMD continues to lead the ranking. It ranks top of the survey in South Africa with 20.8 percent industry share of media buying/billing, and also in Kenya with 25.1 percent.

The media agency started operations in Nigeria 19 years ago and has been consistently ranked No 1 by RECMA (since report started for Nigeria in 2011). It has spread its reach to Ghana and Cameroon, among other countries.
In February 2017, OMD Worldwide was awarded the Most Creative and Innovative Network of the Year for the 11th consecutive time by the Gunn Report for Media, which is the industry standard for evaluating media creativity, innovation and effectiveness.
