On Thursday, April 26, 2019, some women in the top echelon in corporate world were in Lagos for an event sponsored by the Aliko Dangote Foundation.
At the event were the Executive Director, Dangote Industries Limited, Halima Aliko Dangote; Wife of former British Prime Minister, Cherie Blair (Guest Speaker); and Former Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Hailemariam Desalegn (Guest Speaker).
The event, where these powerful women in the society converged was the 2019 Women Corporate Directors Lecture.
The theme of the conference was “The courage to Lead; Inspiring Others, Overcoming Challenges and Achieving Success.”
