The UEFA Champions League Final match is between French club Paris Saint-Germain and German club Bayern Munich. Both are already crowned Champions in their respective leagues.
The 2020 UEFA Champions League Final will be the final match of the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League, the 65th season of Europe’s premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 28th season since it was renamed from the European Champion Clubs’ Cup to the UEFA Champions League.

This is Paris Saint-Germain first ever Champions League final, becoming the fifth finalist from France and the 41st overall by defeating RB Leipzig (3 – 0), in the first semi – final game.
Bayern Munich reached their eleventh European Cup/Champions League final, tying Milan for the second-most number of finals behind Real Madrid, also maintaining a perfect winning record till the final by defeating Lyon (3 – 0), in the second semi – final game.
Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are meeting for the ninth time, with a record of five wins for PSG, three wins for Bayern and a draw, all of these prior meetings occurring in Champions’ League group stages.
This is the first knockout match between the sides, also set to feature two German managers, Thomas Tuchel and Hans-Dieter Flick.
One of these two Champions, having both won their respective leagues will be hoping to clinch the title and named the new king of Europe, a title currently held by Liverpool who won the 2018 – 2019 season.
The 2020 UEFA Champions League Final match will be played behind closed doors like every other knock- out stage matches after a restart due to the pandemic, making this final the first ever UEFA Champions League Final to be played without fans of both teams but trust sports lovers like me, we will be glued to our screen come Sunday, 23 August 2020
