The Ooni of Ife, Ọba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has announced the birth of his son – Prince to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.
His wife Prophetess Naomi, Olori Silekunola gave birth to a bouncing baby boy at the early hours of today, Wednesday 18th November 2020.
Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, while announcing the development on his social media pages described the development as a joyous one for the entire Oduduwa house. He also disclosed that both the mother and child were fine and hearty.
He wrote, “To God be the glory great things he has done.
“Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Silekunola who today birthed a Prince to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.
“Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”
The birth of the prince signals the safe arrival of the Heir to the sacred throne of the Ooni of Ife.
This will be Ooni’s second child. The king already has a grown up daughter, who he had when he was 19 years old.
The daughter, Princess Adeola who is 26 years old, is a graduate of Warwick University and is a Masters’ Degree holder in Urban Economic Development from the University College, London.
