On Monday, March 14, 2016, lawmakers from the Ekiti State House of Assembly were in Abuja to kick against invasion of the Assembly by the Department of State Services, DSS, officials on Friday, March 4, 2016.
The legislators took their protest to the embassies of the United States of America and the United Kingdom in Abuja, calling on them to come to their rescue and save democracy in the country.
Placards with different messages were carried by the Assembly men.
They maintained that nothing would make them impeach the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, who some of them described as their benefactor.
