Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, in Yola, Adamawa State showed their good sides to Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in the state.
The rescue officials were at the Federal Medical Centre in Yola, where they donated their blood to IDPs admitted at the hospital.
The gesture was welcomed by the beneficiary as they begin their journey to recovery.
Most of the IDPs were among those affected by activities of Boko Haram terrorists in the north-eastern part of Nigeria.
NEMA has since worked tirelessly to ensure the IDPs get the best of care while in the camp until they are reintegrated into their original base.
