Buhari Departs For China

Buhari China

President Muhammadu Buhari has left the shores of Nigeria for a visit to China.

The Nigerian leader left the Nanmdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 7:30pm on Sunday, April 10, 2016.

He will be expected to return to the country next week.

While in China, Buhari will seal some bilateral deals with the Asian country. He will also have talks with his Chinese counterpart, XI Jinping.

The Nigerian President will hope to see how China can help in developing infrastructure back home in the area of power, roads, railways, aviation, water supply and the housing sectors.

When Buhari left Nigeria last night, he was seen by senior government officials, including the Chinese Embassy officials in Nigeria.
