Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, has charged the Super Eagles to bring home the African Nations Championship, CHAN, trophy.
The Eagles are making their debut at the competition, which is currently taking place in South Africa.
On Saturday, Nigeria came from a three-goal deficit at the first half of the match to beat Morocco by 4-3 in extra time. The Eagles have already booked a place in the semi-final.
Tambuwal, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Malam Imam Imam, noted that with the Eagles’ brilliant performances at the competition, they have the capacity to win the tournament for the first time and as first-timer.
