Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday, commissioned the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Rescue Unit in Oshodi.
LASEMA, located in Cappa, Oshodi, was put up by the State Government to ensure prompt and swift response to emergency situations in the state.
Also commissioned by the Vice President were equipment procured by the state government to carry out prompt rescue efforts.
Osinbajo is in Lagos representing President Muhammadu Buhari, who was earlier scheduled to be in the state for the commissioning.
