Nigeria’s senior football team, Super Eagles, on Tuesday defeated Luxembourg in an international friendly match.
The game was played at the Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg.
The trio of Nigeria’s Brown Ideye, Kelechi Iheanacho and Odion Ighalo secured the win against the Red Lions of Luxembourg.
Super Eagles embarked on the friendly in preparation for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers which kicked off in September 2016.
The only goal scored by the host was from Till Vincent.
