Members of the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, struck again in Nigeria’s oil rich Niger Delta region.
The group blew up an oil well belonging to top oil and gas multi-national, Chevron, in the early hours of the day.
NDA made this disclosure via its official Twitter handle on Wednesday and mocked the Nigerian military for being “good at harassing innocent civilians.”
The Niger Delta Avengers said the oil well was destroyed despite heavy presence of the military there.
“With the heavy presence of 100 Gunboats, 4 Warships and Jet Bombers, NDA blew up Chevron Oil Well RMP 23 and RMP 24 3:44am this Morning.
“This is to show the whole world that Nigeria Military is good in harassing innocent Civilians.
“RMP 24 and RMP 23 are Chevron Swamp Highest producing Wells.”
