The recently repaired facility belonging to Shell has yet again been destroyed by militants in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
The installation was attacked in the early hours of Friday by the militant group called the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, which has carried out similar attacks in the region lately.
According to the group, it destroyed the SPDC Forcados, which was first bombed, but repaired not too long ago.
The group said it attacked the facility again because Shell failed to heed to its warning not to repair the installation when it was first destroyed.
“At 3am today, @NDAvengers blow up the SPDC Forcadoes 48″ Exportline. We warned SPDC not to go ahead with repair works but they refused,” the Avengers posted on Twitter.
