Buhari Meets Canterbury Archbishop

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who defended his anti-corruption nature.

Welby had informed the Queen of England in May 2016 that President Buhari was not corrupt and was also against corruption after British Prime Minister, David Cameron described Nigerian and Afghanistan as fantastically corrupt nations.

Buhari, who is presently in London for vacation and to see his doctors, hosted Welby at the Abuja House in London.

The Archbishop was accompanied to the President by Rev Josiah Idowu-Fearon, a Nigerian, who is the secretary general of the Anglican Communion worldwide.
