The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, has stepped down after Britain voted to leave the European Union on Thursday.
Shortly after the results were announced, the Prime Minister announced his resignation from office.
Cameron had worked hard to keep Britain in the EU, but majority of his people voted to exit the bloc and stay on their own.
The Prime Minister, in an emotional speech to the nation outside 10 Downing Street, Cameron stated that he would be leaving office in October 2016.
While England voted overwhelmingly for Brexit, Scotland and Northern Ireland backed Remain.
